The restoration of the War Memorial is now completed and new fencing has been erected at the back and to the right of the Memorial. The Parish Council would like to thank the staff in the Finance Services Department at Guildford Borough Council for arranging a grant - both for the cost of replacing the fencing and towards the restoration. Our grateful thanks also go to English Heritage who awarded us a generous grant - without this the Parish Council would not have been able to proceed with the restoration.
