Minutes of the Special meeting of St Martha Parish Council held at

St Thomas Church Room on Monday 28^th November 2011

The meeting was opened at 2.00pm

50.2                                  DECLARATIONS OF PERSONAL AND PRIVATE INTEREST

None

50.3                                  BUDGET - TO AGREE A BUDGET FOR 2012 – 13

The spending levels of the current financial year were discussed in detail with reference to the most recent monitoring and bank reconciliation statements. The expected or estimated costs for each item for the next financial year were agreed. As a result, the precept for 2012-12 was agreed at £12,200, resulting in no increase in the current year’s precept. Within this total, the S137 money was agreed at £1500 and donations to benefit the community within a total of £1000.

50.4                                  APPOINTMENT OF CLERK

Five applications had been received by the closing date of 18^th November. Following extensive discussion, it was agreed to call three of the candidates to interview on 14^th December with one reserve. -Agreed to have three Parish Councillors on the interviewing panel – Councillors Browning, Bunting and Lunnon.
