Have your say on Stoke Park and help shape its future

St Martha Parish Council

What are your views and opinions on Guildford’s Stoke Park? Do you have any ideas on how to improve the park even more? GBC want your feedback on what makes our Green Flag Award winning park work for you.

With so many facilities and attractive green space, Stoke Park has much to offer and GBC want it to continue serving our residents’ needs, and those of future generations. You can now help GBC do this by giving your views to help shape its future and continued success.

Cllr Richard Billington Lead Councillor for Rural Economy, Countryside and Parks explains: “Stoke Park is one of the borough’s best loved parks, and this consultation will help inform the creation of a new masterplan to implement over future years. We want to hear from as many users of the park as possible – from groups and individuals, families and professionals - to the sports community and voluntary sectors. We welcome feedback from everyone who enjoys visiting Stoke Park and its many resources.

“ We want to understand how the park is seen and valued, and what your ideas and suggestions are for its future. We are keen to hear from people of all ages. All opinions matter, and it will help us continue to manage and develop this special green space and its facilities to meet the needs of our residents and visitors now and in the future.” adds Cllr Billington.

The consultation, which is being run on our behalf by an independent research agency, starts on Monday 4 September 2017 and will run for 12 weeks. Your feedback from the survey will help and inform the new Stoke Park masterplan.

You can have your say in our online survey until 12 noon on Monday 27 November.
