Chilworth Care Committee is offering a ‘good neighbour scheme’ to help keep people in touch with one another. Whilst encouraging everyone to look out for their own immediate neighbours we have willing volunteers who, wherever possible, will help with shopping as well as providing someone to talk to.
As many of our volunteers are self-isolating we would welcome offers of help from those people working from home who could spare an occasional hour.
All phone calls will go to our answerphone and messages will be picked up throughout the day (not restricted to our usual 9.00 – 10.30).You can leave a message on 01483 538886 at any time of the day or night!

We have suspended our Thursday Coffee Mornings but can still offer lifts to regular medical appointments. Please continue to collect milk bottle tops and stamps but keep them at home for the time being. Do remember to wash your hands frequently and often even at home.
There has been an increase in the number of ‘scam’ phone calls – if you are concerned or confused about anything you hear leave a message on 01483 538886 and one of our volunteers will get back to you.
