The Defibrillator at Chilworth Village Hall

We are pleased to be able to let you know that Chilworth2gether have a defibrillator now installed at the Village Hall at Chilworth. Thanks to the co-operation and agreement of the Village Hall Committee, we were able to take advantage of the re-wiring of the Hall, and speeded up the installation of the box. The Emergency Response team locally have lent us a defibrillator so we are fully functional whilst we wait for delivery of our own kit. We have also been in touch with, and met, Veronica from Shalford who is now also benefitting from the advice of Steve Pidgeon, our local Emergency Response coordinator, as she tries to get a defibrillator installed in Shalford as well. They, however are reliant on grant aid and haven’t been able to move as swiftly as we have.
