Support the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre - 17th February deadline for comments
Message from The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Team
As you may know, we’re embarking on an ambitious project to develop our iconic and much-loved building into a cultural community hub with theatre at its core. The theatre will be truly accessible to everyone, enabling more people to take part in activities in a welcoming and sustainable building, securing a space for connection, learning and culture in the heart of the community for years to come.
The cost of the project is £6.76 million, and thanks to donations so far we have raised £1.16 million. We are now asking for £4 million from Your Fund Surrey, Surrey County Council’s £100 million funding pot to support community projects.
Thank you for supporting us in the first phase of our application. We’re now in the second phase, and the part that really counts! We have one month to generate as much public support as we can to persuade Your Fund Surrey that we are deserving of funding. All we need for you to do, is to show your support for our plans by commenting on our proposal on the Your Fund Surrey website. It’s a quick process and will take two minutes of your time.
